The town of Walpole offers preschool classes at the Daniel Feeney Preschool Center. Elementary school in Walpole is considered Kindergarten through 5th grade, and students will attend Boyden, Elm Street, Fisher, or the blue ribbon-winning Old Post Road School. The 2 middle schools in town are Bird Middle School and Eleanor N. Johnson Middle School, both for students in grades 6-8. All students attend Walpole High for grades 9-12. Walpole has a commuter rail stop, making transportation to and from both Boston and Providence convenient. Walpole has a center of town with terrific small businesses and restaurants to support. Walpole is also known for its scenic parks and lively seasonal festivals, particularly William Francis Bird Park in E. Walpole.
